White Pines Forest School is not a child care centre. Forest School takes place primarily in a natural environment, and the majority of the program is spent exclusively outdoors. The focus is on child-centered learning, free-play, and self-led activities.

Forest School Educators also actively support learning that is driven and inspired by the child’s curiosity and inquiry. Risky play, stewardship, and environmental perspectives play key roles in this recreational program.
