Our Beginning
Upper Canada Child Care is the direct result of a working mom who envisioned better quality childcare options for families.
Josie Harlow (Seneca Alumni Award Winner, ECE graduate) opened Fenside Children’s Centre in 1983 with her husband John and established their brand of professional childcare.
Today
UCCC has evolved into more than 80 non-profit childcare centres, offering full-day childcare, before and after school programs, summer camps, and most recently, a forest school. Building upon his parents’ legacy, CEO Bill Harlow leads the way for the organization, prioritizing the well-being of the UCCC community.
