Setting
Located in a historic building, this centre has a home-like atmosphere where educators intentionally bring nature into the classrooms.
The outdoor play area is a gently rugged, sensory-rich area with wood structures, rocks, and natural surfaces that invite hands-on exploration.
Programs
We value the trust families place in us and believe parents know their children best. Our play-based programs support families by adapting to children’s changing needs.
Aligned with Forest School principles this program supports children’s health and well-being with daily active nature-focused activities and outdoor play.
Our tree-lined open space invites children to learn and explore in an environment that encourages curiosity, movement, and connection to nature.
Observing the two large maple trees and their seasonal changes – from tapping the trees and making maple syrup to noticing colourful leaves and bare branches – has become the heart and rhythm of the program.
Children enjoy water play, a mud kitchen, art activities, yoga, gardening, and building materials. A nearby creek and walking paths prompt scavenger hunts, and investigations of plants, bugs and animals.
