Our child care programs, summer camp, and forest school are child-centered and inquiry based.
About the program
Children in grades 1 to 3 are eager to take on new challenges and experiences and are proud of their accomplishments.
They have individual interests and abilities and often spend time practicing and improving their skills.
In our lively programs, our educators encourage children to set goals, make plans, celebrate achievements, and to approach challenges as opportunities to learn.
Schoolagers in grades 4 to 6 generally progress from playing alone and in small groups to having multiple friends and social groups. They may enjoy competition and have more interest in forming clubs.
Our educators model respectful and positive social interactions while acknowledging children’s growing need for independence and time with friends.
Parents can expect a flexible group routine, two healthy snacks, and daily outdoor play in all kinds of weather. We restrict foods brought from home or restaurants in order to protect the children in our programs with life-threatening allergies. For P.A. days and summer camp, families must provide lunches that are peanut-free. Other allergens may also be prohibited.
